PDM.
Race cars feature advanced engine management systems, ABS, paddle shifters, electric fuel pumps, fans, and lights. All these components need to be controlled correctly, and all components require circuit protection to prevent damage.
Fuses and relays served all of those purposes, but they come with many disadvantages like complicated wiring looms, sensitivity to vibration/temperature, and complicated diagnostics.
All of the above problems can be eliminated by a PDM or PMU. PDM (power distribution module) PMU (power management unit) are the same thing different manufactures refer to them in different ways. Photo shows the Ecumaster PMU24 we can also supply and install the Ecumaster PMU16, PDMs from Haltech and Hardwire Electronics.
ADU.
The Ecumaster ADU is designed to display all information in an easy to read format, and the ability to display alarms.
The ADU is available in 5” and 7”. Both versions feature high resolution, high visibility anti-glare screens, guaranteeing perfect visibility in any light. The dash comes with many pre-configured pages, which can be fully customized to display data. Pages can be switched manually or automatically depending on setup. Channel displayed on a page can be changed in real time using the Windows based software. A USB to CAN will be required to connect the ADU to a PC to use the software. We can also supply and install Haltech and Aim dashes.
